Diploma in Youth Ministry
Training to minister to teenagers and young adults with a Christ-centered approach grounded in the Scriptures.
The Diploma in Youth Ministry grew out of the need churches have for brothers and sisters who, once they have sensed God's call to serve in the leadership, teaching and counseling of teenagers and young adults, can be equipped to minister to them with a Christ-centered approach grounded in the Scriptures.
By the end of the program each student will be able to understand the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and social characteristics of these stages of life; and to establish and develop a ministry with teenagers and young adults that helps them grow as whole disciples of Jesus, shaping their lives in keeping with the Great Commandment (Matt. 22:37-39) and the Great Commission (Matt. 28:19-20), with the purpose of coming to think, feel and act like Jesus, which is our Great Goal (Eph. 4:13).
